Meetings: 4th Saturday of each month at 2 p.m.

Officers:

Members include 3 Real Daughters.

Dues and assessments were paid on time. Contributions were made to General and Division projects. One book, "Confederate Monuments" was purchased and one book donated to the Library.

The Chapter has a Scholarship Fund and awarded two scholarships.

Our meetings follow the Historian General's program outline. Special programs included a presentation on Southern Music and Correct use of Confederate Flags.

We honored our Real Daughters with a luncheon. Memorial Day services were conducted with the UDC Chapters and SCV Camps participating. Exhibits were arranged in our Houston and Pasadena libraries to commemorate Texas Confederate Heroes Day. Three historical talks were made by members.

The Chaptered offered one essay award and one entry. Five members attended the Division Convention and the District I Workshop. The Chapter supports SCV functions.

Two Confederate graves were located and will be marked.

VA 23220-4057.

On 26 July 1994 our insignia (logo) was also approved by the Patent Trademark Office of the United States. Therefore they are not to be used without permission and when displayed must have the copyright symbol. As stated in the 1997 UDC Bylaws on page 41, Article 34 Insignia Section 2, a & b.
