We have paid all our per capita tax on time.
We have held ten regular meetings a year with an historical program as recommended by the Historian General.
We commemorated all Special Days of Observance and also honored our Real Daughters with a dinner.
We staged a Membership Crusade. We obtained three new members.
We sent roster of the Chapter's Officers & Reports to the Division President & Chairman.
We had representation at the District Convention & at the Division Convention.
We sponsor a Children's Chapter (David O'Dodd).
We contributed $10 to the Randolph Relief Fund, to Educational Fund and Southern Literature Fund. We sent $35 for the purchase of Microfilm to the Microfilm Purchase Fund.
Several of our members took part in Patriotic Activities & Community Service.
We have presented approved Southern Books to Schools, Libraries and Memorial Building Library during the year. We have had an Essay Contest with Awards to Students for the Best Essay.
We have a scrapbook and a yearbook.
We participated in Memorial Day Services, both Confederate and May 30th.
One of our members made a Pilgrimage to the grave of a Confederate Soldier Ancestor with several other descendants.
Two UDC Magazines placed in Libraries; two UDC Histories in Libraries with bookplates. Silk 5x9 Confederate Flag sent to Austin Museum; Silver Flower Bowl ($20); a cabinet ($160) placed in Texas Room honoring Mrs. B. B. Knolle and others at the Austin Museum.
Large American Flag given a Library; Large Silk Flag and History of Oran M. Roberts given to the new Oran M. Roberts High [(sic) Elementary] School at Lake Jackson; also gave an address to students.
One Military Cross bestowed. Two UDC pins and one Jefferson Davis Medal purchased.
Observed Chapter Anniversary with luncheon honoring our 15 Real Daughters; giving a program on their Father's War Records; also presenting read & white corsages.
One Book Review on Mary Custus Lee and one on the life of Varina Howell Davis. Essay in Jr. High Schools in Houston; subject this year "Hood's Texas Brigade." Winner received $5 cash prize and cup for school trophy case, second prize, book, "Secret Missions of the Civil War."
Our Christmas Program featured stories by Harnett Kane "Christmas in the South."
One member has given a gold Jefferson Davis Medal to the Texas Division Children of the Confederacy to be awarded annually for the best Children of the Confederacy Report for members under 25 years of age.
Oran M. Roberts Chapter sponsored the David O'Dodd Chapter, Children of the Confederacy, which has been honored by having two of its members serve as Division Presidents of the Children's Chapters CofC.

On 26 July 1994 our insignia (logo) was also approved by the Patent Trademark Office of the United States. Therefore they are not to be used without permission and when displayed must have the copyright symbol. As stated in the 1997 UDC Bylaws on page 41, Article 34 Insignia Section 2, a & b.
