The Oran M. Roberts Chapter has held ten regular, one called and eight historical meetings; have assisted in observing honor days; paid state and general dues; contributed $100.00 to scholarship fund; $11.00 to Jefferson Davis Monument fund and $2.50 to Jefferson Davis Highway.

Have placed evergreen wreaths on the graves of eleven departed veterans and sent flowers to the sick and bereaved members of chapter; have given a dinner once each month (except July and August) to our veterans.

Have contributed towards support of a sick veteran and his wife; have secured the war record of thirteen descendants of Confederate veterans; presented thirteen Crosses of Honor and are registered 100 per cent; have three new members under thirty years of age.

One of our members, Mrs. Martha T. Morris, bears the distinction of being the only mother in Texas, and probably in the United States, who gave six sons to the service in World War, and was recently appointed by Governor Neff to represent Texas at the Gold Star Mothers' Convention in Kansas City.

On 26 July 1994 our insignia (logo) was also approved by the Patent Trademark Office of the United States. Therefore they are not to be used without permission and when displayed must have the copyright symbol. As stated in the 1997 UDC Bylaws on page 41, Article 34 Insignia Section 2, a & b.
