Have sent floral offerings to sick and deceased veterans, also daughters.

Entertained veterans at all social meetings, homes have been opened to all historical meetings which have been entertaining and instructive.

The historian, Mrs. Neville, is greatly to be praised for the successful effort made to bring the cup to Houston, also in gathering historical facts of the Confederacy from living veterans.

The chapter took part in the co-operative Bazaar at the Auditorium.

Our regular New year's reception, which is an annual affair, was given as usual at the home of Mrs. J. W. Wilkinson, which was open to all veterans of both the Confederacy and the Grand Army of the Republic, the Daughters of both the Confederacy and the Grand Army of the Republic, and the Legion.

Armistice Day was observed by placing a wreath along with other organizations on the flag pole.

The chapter had a flag day; sold flags to raise funds for the entertainment of Green's brigade, which was invited to Houston by this chapter, $825.13 was raised.

Gave assistance to the Sons of Veterans in their membership drive. Sold tickets one week for "Memories of Dixie." Through the efforts of the chapter over $700 worth of tickets were sold.

All financial pledges have been paid. Bestowed ten crosses of honor, twenty wreaths to departed veterans, $15 for charity, paid $80.40 for state and annual dues, mailed $29 to the Jefferson Davis fund for members in the chapter at that time, carrying out instructions from the National Convention at Tampa, FL.
