Mrs. Mildred Maker was the speaker at our October meeting. She brought a collection of the results of her years of genealogical work and recounted several serendipitous events that had happened in the search for ancestors for her and her husband.
Our speaker for the Dec. 9th meeting will be Mrs. Karen Thompson, Vice-President of the Martin Wells Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT).
