Prior to the 1970s, women Judges in Texas were very rare! Judge Barbara Rollins of Abilene is writing a history to document all women in Texas who were judges prior to 1975. This project will include municipal court, corporate court, justice of the peace, county court, district court judges, administrative judges, etc.
If you know of any women judges from your community or family who served as a Judge in Texas prior to 1975, please contact Judge Rollins at: 10 Augusta, Abilene, Texas 79606 or e-mail < email@example.com >.
