Texas Historical Commission Redesigned Website

Updated content, special menus with forms and manuals available for download are all part of the Texas Historical Commission's (THC) redesigned website: http://www.thc.state.tx.us/.

The website has a copious amount of information regarding the THC's projects about preservation in Texas. The main page topics, pop-ups, drop-down menus and additional links are included in the improved website and allow visitors to explore topics of interest.

New content on the website include a cleaner design, information on heritage tourism and travel, a "Frequently Asked Questions" section and a "splash" page. The website includes a newsroom, downloadable copies of the "Medallion" (the agencies magazine-style publication), and the Texas Historic Sites Atlas (a searcable database of Texas historical markers, buildings, museums and sawmills).

This is a must-have bookmark for anyone interested in Texas history or genealogy!
